# pcgs-cert — PCGS certificate verification

Verifies PCGS coin/banknote cert numbers against https://www.pcgs.com/cert/<cert> (Firecrawl render of the Cloudflare-challenged public Svelte page; Scrapfly fallback). One request per known cert.

• certUrl(cert) / certFromUrl(url) (also /cert/verify?certno=).
• Output: catalog_item (coin description, grade e.g. AU58, identifiers.pcgs_number + pcgs_cert, date/mintmark, denomination, mintage → productionQuantity, region, holder type, price-guide value in metadata, cert image) and a partial population_report ("Population" at grade + "Pop Higher"; sourceUrl = the linked public /pop/pcgsnolookup page).
