# MCP connector examples

The connector only reaches **publicly routable https URLs** (Streamable HTTP or SSE); stdio/localhost servers are out. Publish the mini server with a
tunnel (cloudflared / ngrok / the MacLustr Tunnel `mlt add <domain> <node>:8788`), then run `mcp_connector.py https://<public-host>/mcp`.
Anthropic performs `initialize`, `tools/list`, `tools/call`; the model sees `mcp_tool_use` / `mcp_tool_result` blocks. See `docs/tools/anthropic/mcp-connector.md`.
