# ngc-cert — NGC certificate verification

Verifies NGC coin certs against `https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/<cert>/<grade>/` (Firecrawl render of the
Cloudflare-challenged public page). NGC needs the holder grade in the URL — seeds are `cert/grade`
(`4627835-016/61`, `8444762-003/NGCDetails`); a bare cert renders the empty form and yields zero records.

- `certUrl("4627835-016/61")` → canonical URL; `certFromUrl` returns the same `cert/grade` composite; `splitCert()` exported.
- Output: `catalog_item` (description, grade `MS61` + designation qualifier, grade date, label, images,
  `identifiers.ngc_cert`, NGC price guide in metadata) + partial `population_report` from
  "Total Graded by NGC: In MS 61: n / In Higher Grades: m" (sourceUrl = the public census page).
