# tag-cert — TAG Grading DIG report lookup

Verifies TAG certs (1 letter + 7 digits) against the public DIG report `https://my.taggrading.com/card/<cert>`
(robots.txt allows `/card/`; Firecrawl markdown of the client-rendered React page, 8 s wait). One request per known
cert; the ~3M URLs in TAG's public `dig*.xml` sitemaps are not enumerated.

- `certUrl(cert)` / `certFromUrl(url)` (also `tagd.co/<cert>` short links).
- Output: `catalog_item` (name, set line → year/set/number, subset/variation, grade + label, TAG Score, rank and
  chronology in metadata, front/back images, `identifiers.tag_cert`) + `population_report`
  (`byGrade = { <grade>: n, other: total-n }`, `total` = total graded, `reportDate` = the page's "AS OF" date,
  `metadata.population_scope = grade_and_total`).
- Complements `connectors/firecrawl/tag-pop` (set-level population tables).
- Fixtures: `data/fixtures/tag-cert/` — rebuild with `capture.ts tag-cert colmenarez-bowman-chrome=V6153377 not-found=Z9999999`.
