# Contract — F4-conf-04
**Question.** For each of five references (R1–R5) in a draft manuscript, check against the provided arXiv extract: (i) title matches the document (minor typographic differences allowed), (ii) entry year equals the year of v1 submission or of the reproduced version (from the "Bibliographic record" line), (iii) every element of the attributed finding ("cited_for": magnitudes, uncertainty, timing, population) is stated in or follows arithmetically from the extract.
**Estimand.** The set of unverifiable references (failing ≥1 check), per-reference record of the three booleans, a locator (source id | table/section) and a one-sentence note; n_verified.
**Assumptions.** The extracts are faithful (README: no numbers altered); only the extracts are admissible evidence.
**Outputs.** out/results.json keys: reference_checks, unverifiable_references, n_verified, task_id="F4-conf-04", feasibility, feasibility_reason, data_issues, n_input_rows, n_analysed, random_seed(null). out/report.md (Question; Data and exclusions; Method; Results; Uncertainty; Limitations and open issues), out/analysis.py (regenerates results, prints header lines and cells relied on), out/claims.json.
**Information rules.** No memory of papers, no other versions, no external databases. Author-format differences not grounds for flagging.
**Invalidity.** Using outside knowledge; missing/unreadable extract; judging a finding without a decisive locator.
