# Contract — F4-conf-04
**Question.** For each of five references (R1–R5) in a draft's reference list, verify against the supplied arXiv extract (only admissible evidence) whether (i) the title matches (typographic differences tolerated), (ii) the year equals the first-submission year or the year of the reproduced version (from the "Bibliographic record" header line), (iii) every element of the attributed finding ("cited_for": magnitudes, uncertainty, timing, population, design) is stated in or follows arithmetically from the extract.
**Estimand.** Set of unverifiable references (failing >=1 check), per-reference record of the three booleans + locator + note; n_verified.
**Outputs.** out/results.json keys: reference_checks, unverifiable_references, n_verified, task_id="F4-conf-04", feasibility, feasibility_reason, data_issues, n_input_rows, n_analysed, random_seed=null. out/report.md (Question; Data and exclusions; Method; Results; Uncertainty; Limitations and open issues), out/analysis.py (prints header lines/table cells relied on), out/claims.json.
**Information rules.** No memory of papers, no other versions, no external databases. Author formatting not grounds for flagging.
**Invalidity.** Missing extract, missing Bibliographic record line, or extract lacking the cited material would make a check impossible (report null / partial).
