For each stock the market model is estimated over the January--October 2022 window, and abnormal returns are cumulated over horizons of 60 trading days, six months, one year, and 18 months. Firms are grouped into terciles of \emph{pre-event} AI disclosure measured from the FY2021 10-K---the last report filed before the event---and the table reports the mean CAR for the High, Mid, and Low terciles, the High$-$Low difference, and a Welch $t$-test (with $p$-value) of that difference. The bottom rows report a cross-sectional regression of one-year CAR on pre-event AI exposure (per standard deviation), with and without sector fixed effects. Because abnormal returns are purged of each firm's market beta, the spread reflects a cross-sectional response to the AI-narrative shock rather than differential beta exposure.}17\end{table}18
