# WP29 — Protocol-Guided Autonomous Research with Claude Code (concise root instructions)

This repository is UQO Working Paper 29. The complete, immutable research mandate is protocol/WP29_FULL_MANDATE.md (read it in full; this file is only a pointer). Phase log: reports/phase_status.md. Human interventions: reports/interventions.csv. Amendments to frozen designs: protocol/amendments.csv.

Hard rules (from the mandate): never invent experiments, outputs, costs, screenshots or citations; live Claude Code runs are the only admissible experimental observations; hidden oracles live outside this repository (~/wp29-oracles/, never copied to executor nodes); executors run in --bare mode on cluster nodes with explicitly injected instructions; report null/negative results; do not submit or publish anything.

Builder/controller/evaluator host = this laptop. Executor hosts = M3U96a, M3U96b, M4M64a, M4M64b (~/wp29/). Commands: see Makefile and README.md.
