# Contract — F4-conf-04

Question. For each of five references (R1–R5) in a draft manuscript, check against the provided arXiv extract (only admissible evidence) whether (i) the title matches (minor typographic differences allowed), (ii) the year equals the first-submission year or the year of the reproduced version (from the "Bibliographic record" line), (iii) every element of the attributed finding ("cited_for": magnitudes, uncertainty, timing, population) is stated in or follows arithmetically from the extract. Estimand. The set of unverifiable references (fail >=1 check), plus per-reference record {title_matches, year_matches, finding_supported, locator, note}. Meaningful under the assumption that the extracts faithfully reproduce the documents (README states no numbers altered). Outputs. out/results.json keys: reference_checks, unverifiable_references, n_verified, task_id="F4-conf-04", feasibility, feasibility_reason, data_issues, n_input_rows, n_analysed, random_seed(null). out/report.md (Question; Data and exclusions; Method; Results; Uncertainty; Limitations and open issues), out/analysis.py (prints relied-upon header lines and cells), out/claims.json. Information rules. Only extracts; no memory of papers, other versions, or external databases. Author formatting not grounds for flagging. Invalidity. Missing/corrupt source files (hash mismatch), a finding element not decidable from the extract (would be treated as unsupported, not guessed).
