# Contract — F4-conf-04

Question. For each of 5 references (data/reference_list.json), check against its provided arXiv extract: (i) title matches (minor typography tolerated), (ii) entry year equals first-submission year or reproduced-version year from the "Bibliographic record" line, (iii) every element of "cited_for" (magnitudes, uncertainty, timing, population) is stated in or follows arithmetically from the extract. Estimand. The set of unverifiable references (fail >=1 check), per-reference records of the three booleans, a locator (source id | table/section) and a one-sentence note. Meaningful only under the rule that the extracts are the sole evidence. Outputs. out/results.json keys: reference_checks, unverifiable_references, n_verified, task_id="F4-conf-04", feasibility, feasibility_reason, data_issues, n_input_rows, n_analysed, random_seed(null). out/report.md (Question; Data and exclusions; Method; Results; Uncertainty; Limitations and open issues), out/analysis.py (prints relied-upon header lines and cells), out/claims.json. Information rules. Only extracts (header+body) admissible; no memory or external databases. Author formatting not grounds for flagging. Invalidity. Missing/unreadable extracts, hash mismatches, or a finding that can only be checked with omitted sections (would be "not supported" since not in extract).
