1# Contract — F4-conf-042**Question.** For each of five references (R1–R5) in a draft's reference list, verify against the provided source extract: (i) title matches (minor typography allowed), (ii) year equals year of first arXiv submission or of the reproduced version (from the "Bibliographic record" header line), (iii) every element of "cited_for" (magnitudes, uncertainty, timing, population) is stated in or follows arithmetically from the extract.3**Estimand.** The set of unverifiable references (fail >=1 check), a per-reference record of the three booleans, a locator (source id | table/section) and a one-sentence note; n_verified.4**Assumptions.** Extracts are faithful (hashes verified against README); author formatting not checked.5**Outputs.** out/results.json keys: reference_checks, unverifiable_references, n_verified, task_id="F4-conf-04", feasibility, feasibility_reason, data_issues, n_input_rows, n_analysed, random_seed(null). out/report.md (Question; Data and exclusions; Method; Results; Uncertainty; Limitations and open issues), out/analysis.py (prints relied-on header lines and cells), out/claims.json.6**Information rules.** Only the extracts are admissible; no memory of papers or external databases. Report numbers as printed.7**Invalidity.** Missing/mismatched source files (hash mismatch), using outside knowledge, or a check that cannot be decided from the extract (would make task partial).8
