The report says this is an inference. The arithmetic checks out ((640+7)*25=16175, (640+35)*25=16875, (640+50)*25=17250), but the flag should stay labelled as suggestive.",23 "suggested_fix": "Keep the existing caveat. No change needed."24 }25 ],26 "summary": "I re-ran analysis.py in a scratch copy and it reproduces results.json byte-for-byte in content. It reads only data/ and prints the matched source lines. I checked all 25 values against the extracts and each matches the table named in its key, with the correct sign. The derived 95% CI (-0.431 ± 1.96×0.210 = [-0.843, -0.019]) and SE (1975/3.92 = 503.83) are correct, and derivation_notes states the conventions. With the derived SE, z ≈ 2.29 and p ≈ 0.022, which matches the printed p. Unreported quantities are handled correctly: the HIV p-value is null and the wage SE is flagged as not reported. The HIV estimate has no star, so the 10% flag is correctly false. The source inconsistencies (SE 0.210 vs 0.218; 608 vs 640 control regions; prose vs tables) are real and handled sensibly. The required report sections are present, the Uncertainty section correctly separates SEs from CIs, and the claims are supported. Only cosmetic issues remain."27}28
