ls -la data/ shows an empty directory (checked inside and outside the sandbox; mtime 2026-10-30 01:34).
No schema, units, date ranges, missing values or duplicates can be audited.
Decision: I will not take the file from any location outside the workspace, because TASK.md says "Use only data/firms.csv" and no other input exists. P1 is blocked, and so are all downstream estimates.
